Alan Nolan

Alan Nolan is a comics writer, artist, graphic designer and co-creator of the award-winning comedy/horror comic book series Sancho.

He is the creator of The Big Break Detectives Casebook, a graphic novel for younger readers, the Murder Can Be Fatal Mysteries series of graphic novels and the upcoming hurling novel, Fintan’s Fifteen, all for The O’Brien Press.

He is also author and illustrator of Skrewy Science with Prof Butterknut & Kronk strip for The Irish Times.

Born in Dublin, he studied at the National College of Art & Design, and lives in Bray, County Wicklow with his wife and three sons.
